Did you know that Fiji is a group of over 300 islands? A wonderful South
Pacific getaway with easy access from Los Angeles via Air Pacific. My visit
there in May presented a view of a culture that is most distinct. Warm
climate year round, great dive sites, and a wonderful honeymoon destination.
Scandinavia offers a pristine experience in meeting friendly people, viewing
awesome landscapes, and reacquainting with the history of Scandinavian
migration to North America. I recommend cruising the fjords of Norway and
motoring through Sweden and Denmark.
Outstanding scenery, and warm welcomes from one and all! I traveled there in
July, a prime time, but this region is beautiful year round.
September, 2000, is the date for the Summer Olympics being held in Sydney,
Australia. After touring the Olympic Park in May this year, I came away
feeling very proud of my "adopted" country. After living there for a year in
1994, I realize that the culture of Australia has appeal for North
Americans, in that there are many contrasts and comparisons in culture,
topography and history. The "land down under" is waiting for your discovery,
and ready to welcome you!
